湖面上美麗隨風舞動的作品是由紐西蘭知名風動藝術家普瑞斯所創作。作品造型與色彩靈感來自於臺中市市花「山櫻花」之花瓣。作品僅靠自然風吹之力，使葉面流暢轉動著如同翅膀不斷地振翅飛揚，旋轉的枝幹彷如正與風共舞的精靈，不曾歇息地騰旋與翻躍。作品將自然之力視覺化，讓人感受其中美麗的詠嘆與奇妙的韻律。

This artwork dancing with the wind over the lake was created by famous New Zealand kinetic artist Phil Price. The colors and shape of the piece are inspired by the petals of the city flower of Taichung, the Taiwan cherry. Solely through wind power, the petals smoothly rotate like wings always about to take off and the stem rotates like a spirit dancing with the wind, always in motion. This installation makes a force of nature visible, allowing the viewer to sense its marvelous beauty and rhythm.
